Happy Gotcha Day, John!

It's a big day around here.

It is John's Gotcha Day! We're not really sure how old he is. His papers say that he is 36. But as the Thundering Herd's mom told us--sometimes the papers aren't really correct. Based off of his puppy temperament, I'd say he is about 4.

Here's how we've celebrated. First--I woke Kelly up at 5am. When she got up to let me out, I refused to go. Instead I kept pestering John until he woke up, too. Why wouldn't he want to make the most of the day. I'm pretty sure that he's thankful.

Next, I made Kelly take some cute pictures of me.

The last one is our group picture. I hope that John likes it!

Soon, I'll be taking him to one of my favorite places--the dog park. It should be a great day!

I hope that you all enjoy your Memorial Day Weekend~

My Plan of Mass Destruction

Hi Everyone,

It's true, Kelly was mad at me. She's "resting" today (no feety feets in the air--what's with that?). So I've snuck away to tell you all about it!

Here's what happened. For some reason two weeks ago John decided that I didn't need to use the kennel any more. He said it was an "experiment." Just so you know. . .this was one of the happiest days of my life!!

So I had 1 day of complete and glorious freedom. He came home and said everything went fine. On the 7th day--I decided to see exactly what "fine" means. John's definition of fine and my definition turned out to be different. Ooopps!

So here's the list of things I've learned are "not fine."

#1. I ate Kelly's shoe. It was like 13 years old or something anyway--so who cares??? That's like 100 in Sibe years!

#2. I chewed on the wooden arms of Kelly's armchair. Now someone (and I'm not naming any names--but--ehem--it is Kelly's chair) chewed on the feet of this chair. So--I just kinda thought it might be OK.

#3. I ate one of the spindles of our staircase. Just cause I could. .

#4. I ate some tissue.

When John came home, this is what he found:

Kelly, was away on a work trip. So I also decided to pee on her side of the bed, just for effect!

When she came back home, I decided to poop on the floor by her side of the bed. Just to let her know that I didn't appreciate her being gone. This seemed to do the trick, because she stayed home all week! I think she's trying to make up with me, don't you think?

The one bad thing. . which I guess I didn't quite think out in my planning, was the fact that the "experiment" is over. I am back in the kennel when Kelly and John are gone. Bummer!

On another note--I had a fabulous hunting day, Friday! I killed and ate a bumble bee, a wolf spider and a dryer sheet. Yummy!!
Here's a picture from a couple of months ago--ladies. . anyone looking for a "bad" boy!

P.S. AND Kelly just tried to feed me something she called "green beans" and they are gross! yuck! I need to go cleanse my mouth with another spider!

Update and Award

Hello Everyone,

I've been really busy working on my Hula application by destroying things at my house. Pictures and details to follow in a later post.

Today, I'd like to get caught up on my special Kreativ Blogger Award that I received from MrSippi, Mama, Thor and Marco Polo. Thank you guys so much! I feel very special.

I'm supposed to list 6 things that make me happy, and 6 blogs I want to receive this award.

Happy List

1. Baby possums falling from the sky!

2. Low flying bumble bees.

3. When I get to play with other dogs (dog park & Dief). I really like female huskies!

4. Retrieving the Kong Wubba exactly three times (nothing more and nothing less)

5. Sleeping with my feety-feets in the air.

6. Running free at the golf course (which I haven't done lately because John said something about my small prey drive and snakes--see my hunting log for details.)

6 Recipients--Hmmmmm. . .I think a lot of woo may have already received this award. If you haven't received it yet, then please pass it along.

Oh. . and I'm pretty sure that Kelly is mad at me. More on that later!

Paws,
Ozzie

My Hunting Trip

This week I took a hunting trip in my back yard.

ALERT!!! Some of the following information may be too graphic in nature for young pups. I've rated it PG (Puppy Guidance) 8 months.

Hunting Log

Monday: Kelly came running outside when she saw me barking at the ground. Little did she know that I had cornered a ferocious possum. Well. .it was a baby possum, but it was still ferocious. What does a Siberian do when they see a possum--KILL , KILL, KILL!!!!!! (Sorry, Kelly). Kelly wanted me to "come" for some reason and "drop it." I pretty much ignored her and ran around the yard with it in my mouth.

After I had run all over the yard and showed my prize to all my neighbor dogs, Kelly and I both looked up. We discovered that the Mother Possum was up in a tree and that her pouch was filled with delicious babies. For some reason, Kelly grabbed me and PICKED ME UP! We had to spend the rest of the day inside. Total bummer!

Wednesday: Deep in the jungle of fescue grass, guess what I found? A big mean lizard. It was about 4 inches long. Can you believe how huge it was? I killed it. It kind of tasted gross--so I didn't eat it.
Friday Morning: 6:00 am. I was out looking for birds and squirrels--instead I found a bee. I killed it too! Raaar!
The bee body and the possum body are gone--but I still have the lizard. I'm hoping that Kelly and John will let me keep it.

In fierceness,
Ozzie

P.S. I received a very cool award recently and I PROMISE that I will post it soon. I might also share the secret that Dief told me. Shhhhh! Don't tell her I'm thinking about it!
