Happy Halloween

Hello Everyone,

It's Ozman (and Zozo) and we thought we'd get you up to date on our day. John and Kelly said that today is Halloween. Anyway, Halloween pretty much means to me that a bunch of people are coming around begging door to door for food. This is RIGHT up our alley and we are really hoping that John and Kelly will take us out and that there is a nice selection of chicken, beef and possum. We have our paws crossed.

In the mean time, here we are looking innocent in the back yard playing with one of our favorite sticks.

Have a Happy and Safe Halloween (that's Howl-o-ween to you!)

Hey all, Zowie here.
Me and Oz think having John around is pawesome. There are so many great things that happen because he is hear. I want to give a very howl out to John's old boss. Because of him and well me, I get to share this wonderful picture with you:
Yep! You got it! That is one of the most amazing things you ever get to see. It is MY CRATE. Now don't get me wrong. I love my crate. I know it is where I sleep and I am very happy to spend time in it. But here's the part where it gets super cool. Can you guess?? That's right! I am not it it. Because John is home, I get to spend my days like this!
"You mind not pointing that thing at me. They say it steals your soul."
Which is much better than being in the box. Ozzie likes it too. Well. He really doesn't give a squirrels bottom because he is free when they are not at home anyway. Something about him graduating. Apparently they forgot about the toothbrush and toothpaste incident already. How quickly they have selective memory loss.
This is how Oz spends his day (except when I am ruling him with my mighty incisors!).

"Can't you see I am trying to work over here"

He claims he is holding the couch up, but like DUH! It has its' own feety feets silly!

Anyways. I just wanted to share a little bit of our days with you. And just so you know, I am always ready for a good apple. More on this later. But, you know what they say right, "An apple a day keeps the mean vet away." Frankly, I don't understand this because I love Dr. Evans and Colleen. THEY ROCK! More on this apple thing later.

"What? No belly rubs?"

"You WILL give my my belly rubs...What? Did yo say kibble? OK. I'm yours."

Have a great Friday efurryone!

Pawz,

Zozo

Hey efurryone. Oz here. It's raining today.

Guess what I like to do when it's wet out. Pretty much as little as possible. These are some fun places to do nothing.

I usually sleep here right by the front door making sure no one can out without my approval, ie. dominance.

"If you even try to move me"

Again, by the door. This time using the strong hind legs to block the door. Recognize the sheer force.
"Excuse me. Do you have a pass to get through?"
Here I am watching TV with John.
"ahhhh...the comfy male 1973 May Model"
This is the place I go to when it is 'leave me alone' time. Note the tear in the front. This occurred when they had someone watch me and he left me in there sleeping while he went to the store. Obviously, that will not happen again. Once again....Dominance!

"Don't even try to make me come out. You know the rules."

Oh, and here's a fascinating video of Zowie trying to learn how to swim. This is a little old, She's bigger than that now.

video

I also wanted to come clean on a few things. I led you fuzzez on regarding my pawesome ability to open doors the other day. Well....phbbt! to John. I can't. He opened the door the other day and I wanted to look all smart-like. As we all know, we don't have thumbs and these thumbless paws don't open doors. Sad :(

Also, if John wasn't made of sugar, we could go out there to take a picture of the gap between the my perch and the fence. This is rather large and I wanted efurryone to know I have zero intention of trying to make the leap to freedom. I will post a pic once it is dry again so John wont melt.

Hoping your day is dryer that ours,

Ozzie

The view from my perch

Hey efurry pup and kitty. It's me Oz. I got the laptop back from Zozo because I wanted to tell you all about my perch. I can see the whole world from up here. I love it because I get to woo at all the folks as they walk by. Of course since I wanted to show off how much I get to see from up here, nobody came by. Boring.

Here's a shot of me from the perch. I had John take it while he was working on some stuff down below.

"Hey John! Whatcha doing down there?"

This is the view I get to see.

Here's one from a slightly different angle.

So I know that you all are wondering what it was that John was working on. Well, there was this ugly area under the front porch where J and K kept the garbage can. Kelly's mom said it wasn't real pretty to look at, about 3 years ago, I might add. And well, since John has all this extra time on his hands, on account of Zozo I might add, he decided it was time to put his wood working skills to work. I was like "yea right!" Me and Kelly had a laugh about that one, arooo-rooo-rooo!

Well, anyways, here is a pic of the work he did.

Here's what he was able to hide with his fine skills.

Personally, with a little sibe help and a little husky ingenuity we think he did a stand up job on the whole thing.

"Is that square? I don't think it will close unless you raise it up. Why don't you put some muscle into it?"

Now if he could just finish painting it, lazy bones.

And of course, here's a obligatory pic of the squirt.

"Belly rub??"

Figures...

Take care,

Wednesday Waiting

Hello efurry pup and efurry cat. The Ozman here to tell you today's tell.

Well, today is all about waiting. The ole waiting game. Me and Zowie spent a good amount of time today waiting around for various things. I have been working on my photo skills and I think I am getting better. Here are some of the highlights:

Here is Zozo waiting for her the thing she is always waiting for. She covets that which is behind this great barrier.

"Is it time? I am ready when you are...PLEASE!!"

Note the goods!

"Come here and check this out Z. I got it open."

I showed her what was inside when she got here and she can't stop thinking about it. First thing in the am. Right at 12:01, there she is! And 5 pm on the dot. Some kinda wiz this one.

Here I am waiting for Kelly to come home. This is my famous perch where I can see everyone who comes and goes down by the street. More on that tomorrow.

"What is going on down there John? Are you working on something?"

Here's one of Zozo waiting for a belly rub. She gets in this pose anytime J or K come around. She's all about the belly rubs. Me, I could give or take em.

"I am a slave for belly rubs! I will kiss you for them....PLEASE"
Well. I guess I will just chill for a little while until our evening walk. Wonder if Jeopardy is on yet. That Alex, he is such a card. Smart too. Wonder if he is part Sibe.

"I'll take 'Things with Fuzz for $200 Alex.' Arooo-rooo-roooo!"

See ya'll tomorrow,

Oz and Zozo (The Z Rollers)

I am part of the pack!!!

Hey Ya'll!

It's me Zowie(zozo is what they call me)! I got the 'puter from Kelly! She's been real busy with it doing work and all and so has John. He is now looking for a new work place on account of ME! Long story short, I ate a stuffed animal and he had to take me to work with him to keep a close watch on me. Well, he had to leave his post because I wasn't feeling good and his poo-faced boss had to work for him and got angry about having to lift a finger. Unfortunately, John got the axe! John said he would always put family over work, which means he really cares about me. I am really glad because Colleen at the Vet (who is the coolest-she has two huskies too) said I mighta died. They made me throw up and then gave me some liquids and I felt much better the next day. And you know what this really means? I PASSED THE TEST! I am officially part of the pack! WOOOOOO!

Here's us just hangin' out. I am really happy here despite that look! Promise!

Well, as a result of this whole incident, I get to spend more time out of the cage, which I like, but I also like my cave.

Here's me just relaxing, away from crazy brother Oz.

What this whole new thing also means is that I get to spend soo much more time out in the yard playing with J0hn and my big brother, Ozzie, who I adore. I long to be be as big and cool as he!
-Don't let him know this because it will inflate is already giant head.
Here's me checking him out. Keep your fur on girls!
John was so nice to not cut the yard for weeks and weeks during that whole flood thingy and look how tall the grass got. It was all the way up to my chin-e-chinn chinn!

And all of you have heard how much rain we got, well, it is still soooo wet out there. We love to get wet, dirty, do zoomies, come back in and then ask john to let us right back out. Usually this occurs after he has just cleaned something, since he has so much time on his hands now. We try to keep the place all huskied up. He cleans, we mess it up, clean, mess, clean, mess...you all know, hehehehheee-aroooooo!

Here's the O man getting some good rest after some Georgia clay zoomies! Note the smear of mudd on his face.....I put that there with my puppy husky super powers of flight and super height! Hay, I am only like 12 inches tall!

You may note that Oz is almost always laying around when he's not chewing on my head! This is because he's already an old fart and can't keep up with me, Super Z!!

Well, with all this extra time out of the cave, I am trying some new things. I heard the stories of Kelly's poor photography skills from Oz so I wanted to give it a go. This is my first attempt! What do ya think! I think it is very arty!

But what it all boils down to is that we all love each other and can't get enough of some good ole caring and sharing. Honestly, I think living here is the coolest. Ozzie is great to have as a brother He's the bees knees! In fact, I am pretty sure he has eaten a bees knees. Kelly cares SOOO much about me and I love her for it! Just last night she saved me from a deck chair that attacked me while Oz and I were doing Zoomies! I FREAKED out! I would have never thought that thing would be all mad at little ole me. All I ever did was a little climbing on it and maybe some chewing here or there, but that is another post all together. John obviously loves me so much that he is willing to be the stay at home dad and let Kelly be the bread winner. Kelly let out a big sigh and something along the lines of "yea, right, whatever." He has been working real hard at taking care of everything around the house: cooking, cleaning, working on a honey dew list-we don't even have cantaloupe???

Anyways, I am SO glad to be in this pack. It is a great place to be and if you are ever around the Atlanta area, I suggest you come and visit. They take great care of everyone.

Here is one of me loving my big brother. Isn't he just awesome!

He also wanted me to tell you all that his hunter killer (HK) skills have improved. The other day he got himself one of those nasty thingies called an opossum. I wanted to go take a look but John wouldn't let me get near it. Ozzie told me it was as big as me, but I wasn't scared. I would show that thing who was REALLY in charge. Ozzie also said I needed another rabies shot and then I could have at it. I think he wanted to share it with me.

Ozzie asked to post this picture of him that I took the other day. He said it was one for all the chicks out there. He said they just can't get enough of him. All I really heard was "blaa, blaa, blaa, blaaa. Big inflated head, blaaaaa, blaaa, blaaa, funny looking long snooter, blaaa, blaaa, blaaa." Any ways, here ya go girlies (KL-he's got it bad for ya!)

Well, anyways. I just wanted everyone to know what has been going on here at the Z team. I love it and I wanted everyone to know how cool it is to be part of a great pack! I will be taking the reigns of the blog from time to time and will definitely give you all the straight stories, none of those embellished fish tales from Ozzie!

Take care and have a great weekend!

Zozo
